Where are they obtaining 3 year old Tv's from?

Additionally this should be a sub $500 TV..at best

There is better out there today from this same brand for $600-650

Think at this price point it's hard to find a mini-led tv, at least I haven't come across any deals like that. Curious, Which one would you get over this one?

Rtings does not have a comparison with the 635, I found this comparison useful, using the last TCL 6-series to the Q7.

I ranked the TCL, and Hisense as U8K >= QM8 > U7k = *R6 > Q7 > U6K = *S5 > Q6/Q5 = A76 >A6 >> A5 >>> S4 *discontinued

I would pick the 635 in this price range...

I did not, but when I got my 655 I compared that one, and it seemed to be better than the Q7 for that very reason.
The way I understand it, compared to last year's it'd be:
Q6 << Q7 < S6 << QM8

(I did not look at Q6 vs S5 so no comment there.)

According to rtings.com ...from that same year both the Hisense U7G and U8G are better sets than the on in this thread

The Hisesne U8H is a better than the outgoing G models
I own the Hisesne U8H and it has some flaws, compared to my Samsung QN90a...but it was a better value

As I said before..this R635, IMO, should be at most $499, at this point

I saw the R635 review. I was actually talking about a full direct comparison review of two sets, like the one linked in my post, of the newer R-series versus the Q7, which people were discussing in this thread for $150 more.. Now that the extra $50 expired, it changes the value equation some.

I think mini led is better on r635 than q7 with no mini led. I read a comment on the q7 sales post from someone saying they have both and said the r635 with mini led is better.
