The best parallel clamps I've ever purchased. They have a sliding support foot to keep them even with the table. They have a quick move lever along with the tightening knob. Though they (like all clamps) won't apply perfectly parallel pressure at high load unless you alternate which side the bars are on.

Sure, the deal is "back" but only a few years ago they were half this price. I have dozens of these in the shop. They were $40-50 a piece regular price and $25ish with this annual B1G1.

Even look at the 40" Bessey parallel clamps now, they're $50. I have dozens of those in the shop too and they operate better than the Jet ones by a noticable margin. Clearly higher quality.

Not a deal when they increase the price 100% in a few years.

You are correct that these used to be ~$55, with sale prices ~$40, but that was 3+ years ago. I absolutely would love to hop in my time machine and load up my shop in 2015 prior to all the tariffs and inflation. When a jointer was $700 not $1700, or a very nice cabinet saw was $1500 not $3000, but unfortunately I'm firmly grounded in reality and at this point am just happy to stock up at 2015 normal prices in 2023.

It's the reason they keep raising prices...because people are still stocking up at 2015 normal prices in 2023 as a "once a year sale" price. If people buy at the higher price, why would they ever sell it at a lower price?

Let me know when they are back at that price then. Let me guess, you think burgers are overpriced because it costs more than a quarter.

Yeah, because there's no difference at between paying double 3 years later and paying double nearly 9 years later.

I'm for one pair. The arguments here that it's not a historically great price if we go back several years are stupid. If it's the best price in a year, it's worth looking at. Some of us weren't lucky enough to fill our shop with everything we'll need for decades before prices raised.

Good deal for those of us without Deloreans. The Bessey 50" clamp is a few dollars more after their 15% discount.
