AI isn't real, it's been the birds this whole time. Notice them all traveling together lately? They were all headed in the same direction at the same time, theyre up to something big...

Has anyone seen any reliable publications that have measured the accuracy rate of all AI platforms, including compare and contrast analysis?

I have found inaccuracies with Chat-GBT and Bard. In addition, there are certain products that indicted a biased response, like Google and Bitdefender.
If you think any LLM is going to fully replace a good search engine, you're going to have a bad time. These things talk out their asses. Their strength is writing emails, documents, letters, or other things that would be tedious. They're great for those of us that have not forgotten the ancient art of paraphrasing.

I expect within the next 5 years this statement will no longer be valid.

I had a session open with chatgpt for over a month and asked what the number of days difference between a day in the future and today and it gave me the wrong answer. So looked deeper. After some questions, chatgpt answered that it is no time-aware system. That was enlightening.

unicowmilker1, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

ugh can this AI count? "The living wage in the United States is $25.02 per hour, or $104,077.70 per year in 2022"
Isn't everyone expected to work 65-70 hours a week? That's about what that would be at that hourly rate, with overtime above 40 hours. I've worked jobs that required that many hours (different hourly rate) to get by and wasn't able to save much, despite busting my butt. I know, definitely above "living wage" but hardly middle class anymore, for a family anyway.

From what I have heard, asking a language model to do math is like asking a calculator to write an essay. Two different tools for different jobs. However, some people have found that asking them to do some calculations using Python can get more accurate results.

AI's like this are LLMs which do not count but use word probability to answer questions. The calculation is based on a family of 4 with two working adults, which means $104,077.70, which is $25.02 (rounded) per hour for each adult with the assumption they work 52 weeks a year, 40 hours a week. My quibble would be this is unrealistic to be working 52 weeks a year 40 hours a week - due to holidays etc, most calculations would use 50 weeks a year of work. The source for the info is: https://livingwage.mit.edu/articl...calculator
Salaried at that rate does work out.

Actually it can do math just fine. Just wasn't time-aware.

You're telling me a company will collect all the input and questions I ask an AI for free for two months?! Where do I sign up?

What is this, a web-search tool?
No point paying unless you need the very specific features of this AI.

100% FREE?

Open up Microsoft Edge browser on your PC. Copilot icon on the top right.
Or Edge browser on your Android phone, tap the Copilot bottom on the bottom toolbar.

It'll open up the "AI" Microsoft has pushed into all their products.

https://blogs.microsoft.com/blog/...companion/

Basically, you can chat with this smart 5 year old and it'll give you decent answers for most common questions.

E.g. Come up with a dinner recepie if I have these ingredients.....

E.g. Give me a more concise version of this paragraph from my resume....

E.g. Tell me which is better: spam or hot dogs?

Etc.

It'll pull results from the web as necessary to compile an answer.

The better you get at wording the command, the better it works.

Works wonders on fixing resumes, essays, etc.

E.g. Make this sentence sound better on a resume: "Made a robot that helped the elderly."

Answers:
Here are some possible ways to improve the sentence "Made a robot that helped the elderly." on a resume:

- Designed and developed a robotic assistant that provided support and care for senior citizens.
- Created a robot that enhanced the quality of life and well-being of elderly people.
- Innovated a robotic solution that assisted the elderly with daily tasks and activities.

Impressive!
