As long as you're ok with the bigger form factor, this is the best Chromebook (or laptop) for the price. It's a high res 120Hz screen and a 12th gen i5 processor. Nothing else comes close at the price point.

It was well reviewed [pcmag.com] even at the original price.

This model is focused on cloud and steam gaming, note the RGB keyboard, 120Hz display, and WiFi 6.
Asus also makes a cloud gaming model that is a touch screen though, the Chromebook Vibe Flip.
