I own both the Zojirushi Neuro Fuzzy 5.5 cup and the Induction Pressure 10 cup (NP-NCW 18). The Nuero Fuzzy is an excellent choice, but the Induction Cooker has other options like Jasmine Rice, and the texture of the rice taste better than cooking in White Rice or Quick cooking function. I've owned 3 different Tiger Rice Cookers, and Zojirushi is superior. I forgot to mention that both Zojitushi Fuzzy or Induction Pressure rice cooker doesn't smell bad, or change color after leaving it warm function for more than 48 hours. As for my Tiger Rice cookers, the rice smelled bad, and changed color after 16 hours.

This is the gold standard rice cooker across east and south Asian homes. Almost every friend's home I went to growing up had a zojirushi.

The neuro fuzzy logic chip allows the rice cooker to make fine adjustments to temp, time, and pressure to make the perfect rice every time. You can cook rice and keep it in the cooker for 3-4 days. My parents has had theirs for 20 years and it works as good as it did on day one.

I would consider this one of few buy it for life items.

Is the $50 cuckoo from Walmart a decent alternative?

So which is better with these, Neuro Fuzzy, Induction Heating System, or Pressure Induction Heating and why?

this looks so outdated and something from the 90s lol

I would get the cuckoo with twin pressure from costco or spend a little more for induction heating models from costco next (https://costco.cuckooamerica.com/...ssentials) or amazon.

All highend rice cooker models are equiped with dual pressure and IH heating - just upgraded my 10 year old cuckoo to new one and love it.
Bought this red one from macys recently. Was briefly on sale for about $55. Family hasn't used it yet though. Walmart had different shape white version thay seems to be $50 regularly https://www.macys.com/shop/produc...ID=6866422

Exactly the same question I have. I don't understand why these are so much more than regular rice cookers or even the ones that have like 6 different kinds of cookers (pressure cooker, rice cooker, etc.) for only $50 or less. Can someone please educate us on why this kind of rice cooker is worth almost $200

I have a $300 one, I can say that there is no magic for 'made in Japan'. Just buy a regular rice cooker.

Ive had a Zojirushi for 15 years. I tried to replace it with another brand and it was a disappointment. My Zojirushi can keep rice perfect for two or three days, The brand from Costco had dry rice after just half a day.
