Just placed an order with $993 w/ $150 amex cb + 10% cb( hopefully no issues)
I got a 845 G9 last year and very happy with it. buying a G10 for family member.
64GB is a bit overkill but w/ amex cb it is cheaper than the 32gb version
But in these slim and light small 14" laptops, with limited cooling, hardly the CPU can run at those kind of higher power and most cases they are maxed out to 35W-45W and the performance gap noarrows down due to that.

I wouldn't put LG in the same category as the other two brands.
Before "how to get sub $900" is asked I ordered the 16 incher for $1152.87 aftter 15% discount, $3 rewards welcome bonus and NY tax. I will receive $115.26 in CB, $11.53 in CC rewards and $150 SC through Amex. Net price $875.82. If you have the Amex offer, all this is reproducible. I will also get 1152 in HP rewards, which I believer are worth ~$33 towards a purchase.
I wouldn't put LG in the same category as the other two brands.
