I'd check your local best buy open boxes if you want go try this and have easy returns if you don't like it. Can get some deep savings in a lot of like new conditions since some ppl are returning because of different expectations of this kind of device (windows, not a console out or the box experience etc)
That said if you are okay tinkering a little to get some settings dialed in....this thing is awesome. I own one and it's my favorite handheld gaming device to date. Former steam deck user, but I also haven't tried the steam deck OLED which looks awesome as well.

This or steam deck oled
These devices aren't in the same realm. The legion go if you want windows and much better performance. Steam deck if you want a refined Linux / Steam OS experience but less performance.
Hey guys, this may sound like an odd question. I'm not familiar with these at all. Given that this is a Windows machine, can I run all standard Windows apps and conduct business as well? Or is it not really geared towards that (like, not at all geared towards that)?

For example, could I hook it up to an exterior monitor and keyboard and mouse and run it like a standard computer?

I bet it could work fine. This one has 2 usb 4 ports which is pretty nice.
I tried the sd card windows boot thing with my steam deck and a dock and it did ok.
I'm thinking about the legion go for a more well-rounded machine.
Edit: I already have a laptop that I've been using as my daily driver hooked to an eGPU. I would love to dock the legion go and hook it up to my eGPU box.

Does anyone know where they're getting this $963.99 original price from? The retail price on this model is $749.99, plus the $60 gift card is $809.99. Where's the extra $154 coming from?
