not sure if this is true. I know many people like having them on the counter as decoration, but my wife loves her functionally but hates having it on the counter but can't lift it in and out of the cabinet due to weight

my mom leaves it on her counter because she doesn't have the space to put it away, but covers it anyway because she doesn't like having to clean it out before using it every time. this is perfect!
