There's a ton of debate on the slickdeals forum as far as whether or not you even need a paid antivirus as opposed to simply using the windows defender that automatically comes with Windows and common sense but being the paranoid sort I much prefer a paid antivirus/security product of some sort so thanks OP Smilie

More than likely Mcafee will demand your credit card info to make the product work.. that's fine, give it to them, then contact Mcafee online through one of their chat representatives immediately after you get Mcafee up and running and ask them to remove it.. the friend I bought this for said it was a quick and easy process.. do NOT let that credit card number stay in your account, the last thing you want is to have Mcafee automatically bill you for some huge amount when your subscription expires and refusing to back down or offer you a refund. Sadly Norton does this too (though in Norton's case you can at least remove the credit card info on your own without even speaking to a rep)

My daughter's friend ended up downloading a virus that resulted in cryptominers taking over her PC , no joke seriously Smilie .. fortunately I'd prepared a backup of Windows just in case something like this happened and was able to restore the PC back to it's previous condition but in situations like that where you might not be as computer-knowledgeable as you'd like software like this can help or I would argue so anyways.

Online reviews show that it's "pretty good" if not the best.. but on the other hand about $10 including tax for unlimited devices is probably a pretty good deal Smilie

Also be aware that oddly enough Office Depot appears to be insisting that you go in and pick up this product in person (presumably there's a product key on the cardboard sleeve the cashier will give you) as opposed to previous years when you could just order the digital product key and save yourself the trip, not sure why the sudden change. You probably live close enough to an Office Depot such that you can just grab it while you're out grocery shopping or something anyways - I believe you have 5 days from the time you get the "ready for pickup" notification to grab it from the store.

Bought it, and uber said that they delivered it to my front porch, but the picture showed it sitting on a bench.

Called Office Depot for help, and they insisted that when the product left their offices they were no longer responsible for it. So they basically said it's your problem, I explained that to them and they were unwavering and did absolutely nothing to help.

With the picture showing it sitting on a bench in my complex with approx 400 homes, I walked around the complex looking on every bench, and could not find it on any bench.

Called Uber and they were also unable to help me so they took all the details, then later I got an email stating that they did not have enough information.

Called the credit card company and they can not do anything just yet as the charge still has not been properly registered on my card. They want me to call back in a couple of days.

Have wasted over two and a half hours so far on an item that costs less than ten bucks.
