I wasn't even looking for a PS5, but at $350 with all the Target GCs I have, I figured I'd give it a try. It was already in my cart for pickup at the nearest store which said 8 available. When the deal went live, before I could submit the order on the next page, it popped up as OOS. So I tried the next store, added my GCs, and the order submitted OK. Immediately afterwards I tried the same store and it said OOS.

This was about 2 minutes after it started. Then I tried to add to cart at several other local stores which said in stock, and they all said OOS.

Based on this, I have no faith in their inventory counts, and I think there will be MANY order cancellations in the morning when they go to pull them. Hopefully they'll pull them before the store opens. You never know. I expect mine to be cancelled, but I'll live if it is.

Given that shipping was never available and pretty much every store was OOS in spite of showing in stock within 2 minutes, this will be a very YMMV deal if you get one. Even if you do get order pickup confirmation, I'm afraid it could be one that someone opened and returned with broken seals.

I really think if you got an order to go through we have a good chance of getting it. This was obviously a planned deal of the day so (hopefully) they put in safe guards to make sure it would only allow orders to go through for the stock they had. Plus a few reserved for B&M.

Oh no, it had a 1 order limit. I'm just saying there's a stickied comment stating each store had only 5 units. When I looked at the product page it showed 9. I just checked again (20 minutes later) and all locations around me now show limited stock, and you cannot add to cart.
