That... has to be a mistake, right? This SKU is showing in stock in the stores around me - a few of which have over 50 in stock. I don't think they carry that many reconditioned power tools in all the stores, do they? Online or a few stores I could see, but not all of them around me.

Great deal. I paid this much for the tool only. Works great for longer tedious bolt where there is reasonable chearance. A definite finger/time saver.

The spec sheet shows this is reconditioned. I didn't know home deport sold reconditioned items. Maybe not that great a deal if it is reconditioned.

I just picked up one of these in-store. Coupons work on it, I happened to have a $10 off from being on the email list. I paid $149. The reconditioned seems to be a typo because these are packaged as brand new and the tool itself would seem to be brand new.

Picked up a set today, it's brushless, only the 3/8 is available around me in the Bay Area. Seems to be a brand new set and not reconditioned. The Home Depot shelf actually shows a white sticker for $159 (instead of yellow on sale sticker) which makes me wonder if this is the new regular price

Per the QA section on the product page, any reconditioned Dewalt product has a model number ending with R.

I wanted to get this, was in stock at my local store. They had the 3/8 on the chained down rack of demo stuff. This thing is ridiculously large. It is just way too long to be as useful as I wanted. IMO. If it works for you, cool. But it is longer than my forearm, I just can't see it usable under the hood for much.
