Just personal experience without any research.. I was very disappointed in Goodyear. I used several models over the years. I got cooper 2 years ago and they have worn much better without cracking. Hopefully Douglas is better somehow.

Douglas are deathtraps in the rain. I got a new set of four and began hydroplaning if the ground was wet. Thought it was just me until I read on Slickdeals about other people having the same experience. Unfortunately, it ended with an accident last month.

Just bought these for my older vehicles and the 14" size was $38 a tire. I think they'll probably be fine as long as you're not tailgating people in the rain or driving like a bat out of hell. The reviews look much better than the Chinese tires that are about the same price. We're talking 50% the price of a "quality" tire here but I'm expecting mid range by looking at the reviews.

These Douglas are even worse than the GoodYear Reliants onsale.

The GY Outlast are the best of the 3 car tires onsale at WM. Good lifespan and quiet.

The GY Reliant is a decent economy tire. Average lifespan and a little louder.

The Douglas are mediocre at best. Short lifespan and rain performance runs out quickly as they wear. Only get if its all you can afford or getting rid of the car sooner than later and just need something to hold air. Not a big fan of the reliants but they are much better than these.

All the cooper CS tires I've bought in the last 8 years have cracked badly in the treads. They do last long time though

My girlfriend has Douglas on her Highlander. Perfectly fine in Washington state.

I don't get tire reviews-they're all over the place and to not replace them vs rain accident=natural selection
How much snow do you get there?

Walmart tires are usually sh*t from my personal experience but this one has good numbers. So at least on paper it looks good

50k miles warranty
500AB rating (I normally want 500 or above and the minimum for the other ratings I would go for is B)

Don;t see any. They seem to limit the number of options for the Outlast.

The Douglas are $88 and reliant are $95. So the reliant is the better of the onsale tire.

If you need more snow performance and better lifespan the General RT45 are $142.

So Reliant is best cheap tire and the RT45 is a better mid-range tire but have to pay for it.
