I've been hoping to pick up a Legion today. So far this seems to be the best one I've seen, but it's also a little more than I was hoping to spend. Do you all think it's a good deal?

Legion has better screen but if you are on the budget, Acer Predator is great allrounder for the price.

This Legion pro is really a great deal

Yes. Good screen, decent video card. Expandable storage with a second M2 slot. Have the i9 version but the i7 and 4060 will still give you good performance.

Any opinions on this versus the Costco version for $100 more?

I can't tell the difference... but, if you want an easy return, buy from Costco.

B&H has a 15% (minimum) restocking fee...

SIDE NOTE: I don't see Thunderbolt 4 on this one.

Looks like the Costco has a better processor with i9 vs i7, more cores, and faster ram. This has a faster, brighter display according to the specs listed. Kind of a toss up to me, I've been trying to prioritize screen but hard to tell if you'd be able to see a difference with these two, where the i9 has 8 more cores.

Not only that but it also gives a 2 year warranty vs 1 year. The core i9 processor is something u can't replace and the higher speed RAM is good. The difference between 165 Hz and 240 Hz is meh. I mean if the 240 Hz screen uses up more battery, I would be more happy with a screen that sucks up less juice.

I usually keep my laptops for awhile, my current laptop is 11 years old so in the long run, $100 is nothing. With 5% off with Chase Freedom at Costco it helps with the burden.

It makes no difference to people who have external bigger monitors.

It also won't matter to anyone who uses their laptop indoors. 300 nits is fine with me, anyway.

Costco has 90 day returns as well as a 2 year warranty. BH has no returns.

The 13900HX is ~10% faster in single core and 35% faster in multi vs 13700HX, which would be useful for someone who cranks the CPU a lot.
