It unlocks a lot of features that the stock app doesn't have. Tracking and waypoints are the main features. Being able to set waypoints in advance (including camera direction) from the comfort of your couch and then going out to the location and pressing 'play' and watching the drone automagically navigate your waypoints is absolutely magical. At this price it's a steal.

My use is 100% photography, I never fly preplanned routes, I don't do follow me, etc. From what I have read there is no reason for me to own Litchi as it does not stitch panos as well as DJI Fly. Am I missing a reason to still buy it?

The app hasn't been updated in 1 year. Clearly they've stopped updating and supporting it. Not sure it's worth it, as it may or may not work with future iOS updates for DJI firmware updates.

Wish I could actually use my DJI drone. No fix to use my Mini SE with the new iPhones. Phone wants to charge the remote and won't actually connect.
