I bought this a few years ago.

It's been great. No complaints at all.

For the people making silly comments about "I WouLdN't TrUSt tHis WiTh my LiFe" - they are dumb.

Brand doesn't matter. You should be using the hell out of jackstands and other supporting materials.

I wouldn't trust ANY brand and never rely on the jack alone.
I have the 2.5 ton Arcan hybrid aluminum/steel one from Costco and have borrowed this HF Pittsburgh jack from my friend for 1 year. The HF Pittsburgh jack is better than the Arcan. I work on a range of sports cars and SUVs and the HF Pittsburgh works well on the range of cars. The jack pad is lower than the Arcan (much better for sports cars) and the length of the jack arm is lower for longer, allowing me to push the jack underneath the vehicles to reach the center jack points. It also lifts higher than the Arcan (useful for SUVs).

I would definitely buy the HF Pittsburgh if I had to do it all over again. Originally, the aluminum construction of the Arcane was a selling point, but in practical use, it doesn't really matter since I seldom pickup my jacks and just wheel them around on the floor.
Huge warning if you buy one. There is a small black plastic "stop block" you need to remove before setting it up. This step is not mentioned on the WARNING FOLLOW THESE SETUP STEPS insert which guides you thru adding jack oil etc.

I bought one a couple months ago for $99. Can I get $5 back from them? 😀

I bought the Arcan version of this jack about 10 years ago at Northern Tool for $100. I didn't think these would ever be that cheap again.

I think it's a great deal. This is huge compared to the old small trolley jack I got 2nd hand years ago. It also goes very low AND very high lift and I think that kind of range is paramount for car jacks.

Thanks for quick reply. I have an Integra type S and wonder if this is low enough and long enough to reach the center

obligatory PF video link for jack vs others: https://youtu.be/g5_64r2PR7A?si=qSWCj_VeBpI5ncV7
end result: he likes the daytona overall, but puts husky and pittsburgh in a tie for 2nd. the advantage of this in-store offer is that you can check the weld quality before purchase
