i placed the order for the digital gift card first and typed in the code. took 5 minutes then i got the gift card and an email saying i got my promotional balance applied to my account instantly.
went to buy the physical gift card next and the $15 credit applied knocking that down to $85 along with giving another $10 promo credit

I clipped a $10 Amazon credit offer on the physical Apple gift card and it won't apply the promo code for $15 now. Be careful not to clip that $10 deal

Just adding another data point. Lyft 100 is getting error code when adding to app. Chatted with amazon, didn't get anywhere. Asked for refund, they said it's escalated, wait 24 hours...FML

Love the credit card number check when I tried to buy a Vudu GC. Normally I would be annoyed, but I was absent minded when I entered the promo code then clicked place order without applying the code. When the verification page came up, I was able to back out of the order and wait for the order to be cancelled for the failed check which took only 10 minutes. I was then able to place a new order with the promo code included. Lucky me.

Clearly many people are having issues with the Lyft gift card. Also been with customer service for a while. What a waste of time.

No issues with my Lyft card redeemed directly in the app at 10AM this morning (have to use card # AND PIN), now appears as Lyft Cash.

This is standard for Amazon, just FYI. Promotional credit offers (which are diff from gift card back or just discounted price) don't show their amount in the purchase process, you find out in an email after.

And if you apply it to your account you will see that error if you try to apply it again. This has nothing to do with app vs desktop- as far as Amazon was concerned you had already added the code to your cart somewhere/anywhere, hence "once per account".

This is super easy to fix. Any time you clip a coupon on amazon and need to "unclip" it (for whatever reason), go to your cart, then to the checkout page, select the payment options, and you will see an option for "promotional code" somewhere in the list (very top or bottom usually), with the value of the coupon you clipped. It will be checked (so, applied) already and you can just uncheck the little box! The coupon is then "available" again and no longer on your current cart/order. Enjoy!

Apple is add adding gift cards to most purchases right now and giving you a discount on the product you're buying to cover it. Does anyone know if the gift card balance will still work on these transactions?
