ChatGPT 3.5 is free and accomplishes a great deal of the same functionality for anyone looking at this type of product.

"great deal of the same functionality". That's not completely true. Chatgpt doesn't integrate directly with your apps to correct errors as you type. For many that alone is worth the 70 dollars a year

Okay, that's helpful because I had the same question. I get suggestions like you mention but not multiple from choose from. I'd say another strong area for Microsoft is that it considers what you're writing about so I can begin a word and it will suggest the whole world, extend to a phrase if I've used it previously in the document, and even a whole sentence. I'm guessing Grammarly doesn't do all of this but it still might be worth checking out. Especially considering I can write it off like someone else mentioned.

I already have Grammarly Premium, and I use it online daily. My current subscription will end next March, 2024. If I buy a subscription ($64.80 for a year) now, will the purchase add another year so that my subscription will end in March 2025?

Yes. What I typically do is finish my document in Word (unless it's email), and the copy & paste it into the "New Document" feature and run it there. Or you can use the plug-in and edit while working in the document.
