ChatGPT 3.5 is free and accomplishes a great deal of the same functionality for anyone looking at this type of product.

"great deal of the same functionality". That's not completely true. Chatgpt doesn't integrate directly with your apps to correct errors as you type. For many that alone is worth the 70 dollars a year

Used it for my college papers, but now mostly for my resume edits and cover letters. Well worth the $70 investment, to avoid one error that can be costly on those "first impression"

yeah, and its also not SOC 2/3 HIPPA, SOX, PCI ISO/IEC certified. there's more to these applications than what the average joe blower realizes. GPT 3.5 is taking your data and you have no idea what is being done with it. If privacy or compliance mean nothing to you then by all means have at it.

chatgpt and bing chat should be more than enough for most users. I'm long time grammarly user and switched to free ai and super happy.

This is wrong. You can opt-out from your data being used by ChatGPT to train on.
