Wondering this too. I ordered this model from Walmart for about the same price. Using solely for productivity... Which would be better? SAMSUNG 27" Class ViewFinity S61B QHD IPS 75Hz AMD FreeSync Monitor - LS27B610EQNXZA https://www.walmart.com/ip/519787042

I don't have experience with this model, but I do have a few years of experience with the 34" curve ultrawide dark matter monitor. I've used it primarily for developing industrial automation programs and a variety of office programs. It's been solid, no real complaints. It does come out of low power sleep mode after some amount of time, and sort of does this 'wake up->no input->low power mode' cycle for awhile. I don't know if it's monitor related or something else. Otherwise, no issues.

Let me guess. You have a LG plugging into a mac over usb-c to usb-c or usb-c to DisplayPort?

I got these for 2 out of 3 monitors and I mainly use them for work. They are great so far and I haven't had any issues. Decent colors, font is nice and clear, and good viewing angles. Wake up time is no more than the Acer CB342K I have as the 3 monitor, but it is a little more active (Backlight turns on, no signal box, then display).

How is the IPS glow and presentation of white tones on this? Those often seem to be weaknesses on lesser IPS panels.

I bought this monitor and the Dell 27" that was on sale for $150. Primary use will be work and photo editing. I thought text was a little more sharp on the dell but color was better on the Monoprice. I'm using the monitor with an M2 MacBook Pro. I kept the Monoprice over the Dell due to higher refresh rate (165 vs 75) and colors/images looking better.

I just bought this recently and have been using it for a few days as a second monitor to keep an eye on everything around the house with my security system while I'm gaming. So far so good. Although the speakers are a little lacking compared to my main which is a hp omen 27qs. All in all it was a good buy, we'll see about longevity.

You can use any monitor for non-gaming purposes but if you do game, this has the features.

No reviews that I could find for this, but the specs look solid for the price. Guess I'll give it a shot and leave a review for it at least.

Doesn't look like it has Freesync or Gsync.

100x100mn VESA mount. I guess you have to remove that back cover, just above the stand (there's a little indent/cut out at the bottom right corner of the cover for tool insertion), to access the holes and remove the stand.
