....but as someone who has peered behind the curtain into corporate processes & industrial manufacturing, you'd have a hard time sleeping at night if you knew just how much utter waste there is in our consumerist-based society.
The casual citizen gets screamed at, guilt tripped, and admonished if they leave a hyper-efficient LED candlebulb on overnight. We're the ones told to tighten the belt, and that the austerity measures are only until things improve. And all that's by design, intentionally.
