edit: ES2 (slower and less range) is $199 on their site as well and would be alright for a short commute or a kids scooter but the G30 for $385 is great value. Not sure if we will see better deals from another retailer but I bit here.

Segway app says 0 miles but I presume thats been reset.
Using the Darknessbot app, I can view the battery's info which shows 30 charge cycles, 100 charge count and a build date of 01.01.2016. With those numbers, this scooter could have over a 1000 miles on it.
Aye aye aye. Did Segways return policy say it cannot be returned once opened? I'm not even sure I want to ride it yet just in case I still have a chance to return it.
Edit: The battery build date doesn't make sense if the 2nd gen motor G30 came out in 2020 and the G30 itself came out in 2019. Nevertheless, 30 cycles and 100 charge counts kind of suck. If I'm reading the fine print correctly, looks like the return shipping would be my responsibility so I guess I'll be keeping it. The firmware is also v1.7.13 so I don't think I'll be able to install the higher speed firmware.
Well, I'll just have to hope for the best and enjoy my first e-scooter.

Couple of things I wish I knew when I first got my scooter...
1.) Try not to drain the battery under 20% all the time (Once in a while is fine but keeping it above 20% is good for battery health).
2.) Tire Pressure - I am 205 lbs and inflate my tires to 50 PSI every week or so and haven't had any flats or issues. (If you are heavier, you might want a little less PSI and if youre lighter maybe go a little over 50 PSI but dont go over 55).
Also heres some must have add ons that I use and can vouch for the quality of.
Phone Mount - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TWMZFR8 (A piece did break off of this after a year or so but it was my own fault)
Accessory Kit - https://www.walmart.com/ip/1-Set-.../453194638 This kit comes with a hook that attatches to your scooters stem. I put my backpack on the hook and do grocery runs all the time and use a bungee cord to keep the bag firmly on the stem. I wouldn't advise putting alot of weight in the bag but i routinely carry 10-20 lbs of groceries multiple times a week for 2 years now and haven't had any issues but again, its probably not smart to put that much weight in there (I am not a smart man
Loctite for stem screws - https://www.harborfreig
Tire Inflator - Maybe set an alert for an inflator and just pick one up on a deal? This is currently out of stock but is the one I bought on a deal for like $30 I think it was. - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09S898MF3/
Best bang for your buck speaker imo (need tunes when youre scooting
