Put over 2000 miles on my refurbished max from 2 years ago. Used those miles for $40 off another one here, thanks pal. This is an extremely well built machine and you will not find anything that compares for this price. Thanks

edit: ES2 (slower and less range) is $199 on their site as well and would be alright for a short commute or a kids scooter but the G30 for $385 is great value. Not sure if we will see better deals from another retailer but I bit here. Peace

They give you $1 off every 20 miles or so you put on the scooters that you own apparently. I have ridden my scooters a ton attached to my account so it looks like you can redeem your ridden miles for cash off, it was new to me.

No joke, I work for one of NY's big hospital and I have a colleague who was in ICU recently from a scooter crash. I ride one myself but never without a helmet. I saw a ton of accidents from citibikes and revel.

Make an account on the segway app and attach your scooter with bluetooth on your phone or you could probably make one on segway.com too i'd think?

I use mine several times a week in NYC. The small wheels and lack of suspension mean you'll be a lot more aware of potholes and general bad pavement. But otherwise it's not really any more dangerous than biking. Just depends on the quality of bike lanes on your route.

was about to buy the refurb g30lp but saw this and chose instead. much prefer the longer range for not that much more weight, and its a little longer and taller which makes it more comfortable.

Gambled on refurb of this model last year from Newegg for slightly less and it came looking new but 50 miles. Works great, just used it a few days ago when i got my oil change.
