Clearly, yes.

These look look like they're probably worse than NORTIV8, another faux brand that was spammed pretty hard here recently. I tried some of those and was disappointed - even more so in myself for trying something I knew wouldn't be satisfying than in the shoes themselves.

It's not where they are made. It's which company designed them and how well they do quality control. You, obviously, know zero about overseas manufacturing. And, yes, they can be made at the same building at the same factory and be completely different than the shoes of a good brand.

these aren't much cheaper than the adidas running shoes i bought recently. too expensive for a no-name brand. you can find shoes like this on aliexpress or temu for less than $16

There is a huge huge difference between trash chinese no name and a branded quality controlled product manufactured in china.
