Walmart had a 4k UHD for 188$ and a Roku, now that's a good deal. Its now at 250$ and its still a good deal since roku is very seamless

Ultimately picked up the Hisense 55U6K over this, for the local dimming & slightly better peak brightness in HDR, also the NBA 2K24 Offer [hisense-promos.com]. The following reviews were helpful as well:

Yes... the 2021 R646 series has... mini-led, local dimming, and 1000+ nits of brightness. TCL changed their model numbering scheme and features of each for 2023.

I've owned the R646 for a year now. Not much to complain about using it for movies, PS5, switch, and 4090 PC gaming. Sometimes the netflix app bugs out or I have to do a hard reboot, other than that no major issues. Picture quality is not far off from OLED in my opinion but it depends on how critical you are. It is THE tcl to get if you are looking for a deal...

Edit: The Q7 is also a comparable price to performance/value but less dimming zones.
