Hated mine when I had it. Slow and laggy even after reducing animation time from the Developer Options.

Pretty sure they set those long animation times to hide the fact that it's laggy and slow right out of the box.

I have Tab A7 with 32G. It works fine except there are plenty of bloatware to begin with.
For a while, it was my primary tablet until it had no storage for even Android update.

I can't believe they still sell Tab A8 with 32G.
There are rumors about Tab A9 coming out. So, merchants need to get rid of outdated A8.

Samsung Tab A8 was release on Jan 2022. It is almost two years for Samsung with an A series tablet.

samsung epp s6 lite 64GB base price is 189, which is one step up for many uses and has the pen.
direct samsung purchase cb is easy to get can still be 15 percent, it was easier yesterday.

The A9 and A9+ were announced to be released back on Oct 23. Not sure what is taking them so long to get to the USA. A few other countries already have been selling them already. They were both seen passing FCC regs.

I got the A7 for my kid and it was fine for games and streaming. Then the screen was broken and I got her the A8. No issues for over a year. For streaming and games its good. It is a bit laggy and I need to close the apps for her often. But thats only when she has 10 or so open. She does have the 32GB version and a memory card is a must

128 GB version is the only one worth considering. It has 4GB of RAM. The others only 3.

Agree with this. We have the A7 32GB for the kids with a 64GB microSD to download movies and shows. Perfect for vacations and road trips, which is the only time they get their tablets. Will obviously get a "better" version when they are older and can utilize the functionality.

The A7 is currently $99 at Best buy as well.

These are super laggy definitely not good for games really and the resolution isn't great for browsing, all and all I kind of regret getting one the s lite is probably way better but costs more.
