I own a bar with 15 TVs, and have one of these, it compares well with others in its class and this is a really good deal. I also have a couple of the higher end TCL and Hisense models. I don't know if things have changed in the last couple years, but I have had an after the return window warranty issue on both a TCL and a Sony. With TCL, once they made the determination the TV had a bad panel, they did send a shipping label and paid for return shipping, but I had to package it and deal with the shipper to have it picked up. The bad part is they had no advanced replacement policy, I had to wait for them to receive it until they shipped out a factory refurbished unit. While the TV they sent back looked just as a new one and I've had no problem since, the whole process took a month. When I had a similar issue with Sony, they also paid return shipping on a 85" TV and did an advanced replacement and made arrangements that allowed me to pick up a brand new one at Best Buy where I bought it. That whole process took only 3 days. Sony also gave me the option of shipping one out to me, but I didn't want to wait for the 7 to 12 days that freight shipping would have taken. So unless things have changed, if you have problems down the road under warranty, I think Sony might be better to deal with than TCL. Not sure about Hisense because I've never had a warranty issue with them, but my one and only experience with Sony warranty support was a good one.

All those considering this or the u7k, I would say go with the Sony. I have the u75h and have a lot of motion judder / stutter issues. Especially on 4k content on both Dolby and HDR. It will be working fine and then a few scenes you get a hiccup. Sometimes just someone tilting their head.

Just my 2 cents do some research to see if the Sony has issues too.

Interesting deal considering this was just a huge Slickdeal recently at $100 more. Weird pricing decision by Walmart so close to their last deal.

X90l is a much better tv
I did a lot of research on this and it is indeed worth it. You are keeping this TV for 5 years AT MINIMUM. 600 is like $10 a month for a much better experience for 5 YEARS straight

I wish the 65 was on deal.
Me too - total lack of good deals on the 90K or 90L so far in 65 inches. This on the other hand is an outstanding deal for 75 inches.

Is the 65" A90J still available? I'd get that over this even with the size difference

I would go OLED man, it's just better and less failure points for long term.

Minus the whole burn in thing.

Will Walmart do the price difference refund for those that bought at $998 last month?

It looks like they will not, would need to do a return and re-buy.

Yes the 90k is better

Some of the lower end model Sony TVs don't offer local dimming so the X90 series is the recommended baseline.

That deal expired several days ago, and now it's only available from third party sellers for $2300 or so.

This or Sony A80J or A90J? For gaming and movies

I highly doubt you'll find the A80J or A90J at this point. I think the Walmart $1398 deal was the last hurrah for the A90J. The X90K is great for gaming as it's has 2x HDMI 2.1 ports to take advantage of the 4K120, VRR, and ALLM. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10.

I'll try, but I hope someone can correct me if I'm wrong. The X93L is essentially a X95K rebadged, and the X90L is better than the X90K. I'd personally go with the X95K or X93L because they utilize Mini LED technology. The Mini LED technology should lead to better contrast.

The only Sony 4K Mini LED TV that's better than the TV's you previously mentioned is the X95L, but it's expensive and it's only available in 85".
