Imagine not owning OLED
Imagine image retention or being too dim unless you shell out big money for the high end models.

Bought this TV back in October. It was too wide for my tv stand and I do not have a location to wall mount. Bought a two leg tv stand from Amazon and installed on the TV. Problem is this TV has 300 x3000 VESA mount which put the legs close together. I was able to attach some metal brackets to the TV then attached the TV stand to the brackets. Have the two legs about 36 inches apart and is rock solid. I avoided the tempered glass TV stand and opted for all metal TV stand.
Interesting! Can you tell me more about the brackets you attached (or maybe post a picture)?

I have this TV. For this price this is a no-brainer.

I paid almost $1500 tax included for adopting this early.

It's live.. I grabbed one.. saw this tv in person and it's a beautiful tv. Was considering the tcl 6 series for 700 bucks but ultimately the screen lotto punched me to the Sony .

Is a bit of an off angle view decent? Rtings scares me by by saying it's not good but some other poster said it's great. How do sports look? I got one I'm excited for it to get here for that price can't be too picky.

Even if you add that 1 month Walmart + cost. Still cheapest price out there.

Enjoy Walmart + for more deals that may arise the rest of December.

Then cancel so it doesn't renew membership…
They have it back in stock now

Was really hoping that this TV would be issue free. Was set to purchase this unit but I'm now reconsidering. Appreciate the research you uncovered!
Yes, so was I,

Have it in my cart, but cannot pull the trigger. After seeing the Uniformity tests below between this TV and the Hisense.

All the specs are great for the price. Not the best HDR but that is ok.

Problem is I like sports and DSE and sports do not mix.

There is Rting comparison between Hisense H8 and this one. The H8 is great (except for low content).

There is a comparison showing the color screens between each TV (goes though each color. And after going through those pictures, its pretty clear. Look at it when it shows the gray color.

Why the difference. Micro LED. The next revolution in TV. And hopefully the end to DSE.

Uniformity test. Note the corners for the Sony as well besides the banding in the gray and some other colors. And the two spots near the center middle. Distracting.

Whew. Bummer. Real Bummer.

I waited for a good deal and just couldn't spend the $800 more for the 65" C3. I hope this tv is as nice as Reddit comments say. Go Reddit! I'll leave a review after I get it.

Dumb question but how close is this to a OLED quality?
