Good catch. It does come with a wall mount though.
A quick search on Amazon shows lots of 3rd party TV stands across all sizes and styles starting at around $20 or so.

No the G3 is much brighter and also DTS is nice as you don't need to add an extra cable from your media system to the soundbar or receiver. However I am still blown away by my G2 hands down the best TV and this price is nice but not amazing I got the 65in for $1500 out the door

I got the G1 for $100 less a couple years ago. Looks incredible on the bedroom wall and the picture is amazing. G2 at this price is a must grab, if you're in the market for a 55".

Everyone who sees it on the bedroom wall pick at it cannot believe it's so thin and flush against the wall with the provided wall mount. I believe it would be sacrilegious to put this on a regular stand. I can see why LG doesn't provide feet for this tv, only the special wall mount. I believe mounting this TV on a wall is worth a small wall repair if and when you need to move it.

Pretty star deal for folks in the market. This is basically what I paid less than a year ago for a 55" C2 and the G2 is a clear step up.

This hands down. Especially for gaming , this model gives you four 4k @ 120 hdmi ports whereas the sony give you 2 one of them also being the eArc port as well. G series will also get a lot brighter than the Sony model.

Amazing deal. This will cause a huge fight when it arrives as bedroom TV was just replaced. Looks like guest room is getting an upgrade with the old new TV.
