Costco has the 5th generation Theragun Pro on sale for $350. Appears like most current sales elsewhere has the 4th generation for $350, whereas for the same price at Costco you get the newer model.

Why the thumbs down? It's $460 on Amazon and $400 at Theragun (w Black Friday pricing).

From a result perspective (I.e good massage, pain relief) does anyone know how the very expensive Theragun differs from a device such as this one with 9 attachments https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09ZHRNX4T

MEGAWISE Handheld Back Massager | Deep Tissue Percussion Relief for Back, Neck, Shoulders, Waist Legs, full body for improved blood circulation and fatigue relief (Pearl White 6Ft Corded) MEGAWISE designs and manufactures products with the methodology of LEAN (adopted by Famous Brands such as Toyota and GE).

It is corded and currently on sale for $19... The cordless version is $25.This is the first time I see a company on Amazon mentioning the Lean process improvement methodology, and the product is impressive for what it does and the very competitive price. I've tried both and returned the Theragun, it is way overpriced for what it does and the very limited amount of attachments. Just wondering if the Theragun can do something the $19 corded - or $25 cordless massager can not do...is the $300+ price difference really justified.. the price of the Theragun should be more around $50 ... Theragun products have a very high markup price.. and real cost is probably around $20 made in China...

How is posting that question in two posts, all the theragun posts (132 posts for theragun as of today)? stop spreading false information without any type of evidence, it is very obvious you get some type of financial incentive from Theragun and that's why you are so defensive and spread lies...

I've tried four other models on Amazon/Walmart, including the Wahl, Renpho, and a few other no name brands. The cheaper massage guns had one or more of these issues: (1) low amplitude, more like a vibration than percussive therapy, so it doesn't reach deep into my muscles, (2) low force - increasing the intensity only makes it "vibrate more" rather than hit harder, and I wasn't getting the same muscle release I would with a foam roller, (3) stalling or "jumping" - most other brands would start jumping when hitting a harder part of the muscle or bone, going slightly out of control, and this would occur multiple times each session, (4) attachments were typically hard plastic or dense foam, whereas I prefer a durable rubber. The cheaper ones also tend to burn out motors or batteries would die often, at least from reviews I've read.

Not saying 350 for a massage gun is worth it, as some of the cheaper alternatives did a decent enough job, but I could list dozens of reasons why Theragun is a superior product compared to the cheaper alternatives.
