70 pounds. Wow. Make sure to avoid pantry weevils by keeping it stored in an air tight container. Or a thousand smaller containers.
I don't have an issue doing something similar.

I bake all of our household bread so I typically purchase 50lb bags of flour from a restaurant supply store (used to be around 17 bucks per 50lbs of king Arthur, now around 22-23ish). I store the bulk of it in the original sack and pour into usable (5lb-ish containers) for everyday use.
Stick your bags in a deep freeze for 48 hours prior to long term storage to kill off any bugs

Would storing in the original bags be a bad idea?

Gonna make a lotta dough with this!

Edit: A lot of decent prices on other Red Mill products. If you don't need 14x bags of flour, you can stock up on other grains and cereals.

Thanks, OP! I wish they also had Bob's popcorn kernels but alas. They do have tri-color pearl couscous for just $3.99 that is much cheaper than at the only fancy pants store around us that carries it: https://www.vitacost.com/bobs-red...l-couscous

Edit: they do have popcorn! Highly recommend it, we went through 5 packs already (ordered on Amazon), it's awesome: https://www.vitacost.com/bobs-red...corn-white

Red mills flour comes in sealed plastic bags. No concerns for bugs getting in....

Yes. I store extra bags of flour I get a good deal on in the freezer. Use freezer zip lock bags, vacuum style bags or ziplock mylar bags. I've had good results from any of these.
