HP has the following HP OMEN 40L w/ customized config for $900.30 by using a combination of several offers. $900.30 price requires the following config:
  • AMD Ryzen™ 5 7600 RGB Air Cooler (up to 5.1 GHz max boost clock, 32 MB L3 cache, 6 cores, 12 threads)
  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 (12 GB GDDR6X dedicated)
  • Kingston FURY 8 GB DDR5-5200 MHz XMP RGB Heatsink RAM (1 x 8 GB)
  • 512 GB WD Black PCIe® Gen4 TLC M.2 SSD
  • Front Bezel Black Glass with 600 W 80 Plus Gold certified ATX power supply
  • Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth®️ 5.3 combo

Price should come to $1299.99 with this config.

Required offers:
  • 10% off w/ coupon code 10BFCM23, price is now $1169.99
  • Before checking out, register for a new HP.com account to receive $3 off (100 pts), price is now $1166.99
  • Amex offer $150 statement credit on $999+ spend at HP, price is now $1016.99

I chose not to add more memory because it's cheaper elsewhere, such as:
https://shop.kingston.com/products/beast-expo-rgb-ddr5-desktop-memory?variant=43159731896512 [kingston.com]

You may also consider upgrading the power supply for an additional $50. I decided against it.

A popular cash back site has 10% cash back on HP, which will bring the price to $900.30.

10% cash back is calculated on 1166.99 = 116.69.

After AMEX statement credit you pay 1016.99.

$1016.99 - 116.69 = $900.30

If you're down voting, pls let me know why! Hands down the slickest deal of all the rigs posted so far Smilie ordered it myself along with the same memory used by HP -- Kingston Fury 2x16GB 5200 DDR5 RGB RAM directly from Kingston for $108. Linked in the main deal post

Hehe, Im so piss i cant replicate the deal...no amex discount. So, don't take it personally! Otherwise, you are right about the rig is better than most other ones. If I do decide to get it, if anyone who upgrading their ram and wants to help me out with selling me their 8gb lmk ($25 shipped to 90805).

I will be selling my 8GB DDR5 module, but not until February. I'm going away for 2 months, so I won't even be able to open this bad boy up until February. I was not planning to buy a system yet for that reason, but this deal is way too good to pass up.

Pretty good deal for what you get if you have an amex card. Id say 16gigs is a must, but you don't have to buy it from HP if you know what you're doing. PSU is low, but a new one down the road or just paying 50 may be worth it to some. If your not comfortable with changing out the psu I'd just pay 50 more and that way you won't run into size issues and you can get another great gpu in 4-6 years without worrying if you have enough juice.

And the 7600 is a great cpu, super low power usage same gaming practically as 7700 and the system can be upgraded to a 9600 or so in 4-5 years if you want.

I would suggest removing unneeded software from your startup to improve game performance. The system should run cool anyways because if the efficiency of both the gpu and cpu. (If it was a 13600k I'd say otherwise).

I see a lot of post mention "A POPULAR CASH BACK SITE" website without naming it... is it that hard to just say what is it...? Do we all really need to be so mysterious huh? 😂

Is this written somewhere in slickdeals TOS? It feels very anti-competitive, and not in the best interest of Slickdeals users.

I agree with you!! My only concern in upgrading the power supply LATER, is if HP uses a proprietary (non ATX) connection to the motherboard, that can complicate things.

There is an 800W PSU option for an additional $50, so your total will be around $940.30 after the discounts if that is important to you

HP just raised the price $50. Now you're looking at around $941.30 total. Maybe it will go back to $949.99 starting price tomorrow.
