Credit to Jonas3 (TU their comment below): Use code extra30 to bring final price down to 76.99. Works on lots of stuff I believe over $50.

If you do not need HDR support, there is a unit that is less expensive. See the post for it HERE.

TFW when one owns a mansion but are on slickdeals looking for an HDMI extender.
Have you ever tried pulling 400' of HDMI cable?
Correct. The protocol this sends over the cable (HDBaseT) won't be understood by routers and switches. But monoprice makes a few that would work. Just search for "hdmi ip"

Try swapping the 2 receivers first to see if the issue follows the possibly bad receiver, if it doesn't then you possibly have some bad cabling. If the flicker follows the receiver then you have a bad receiver
Thanks!

Could be a bad crimped cable, could be the receiver just not being able to push through much bandwidth. 4k uses 4x the bandwidth, so it's quite possible you're just maxing out the transmission specs. Sometimes it will say 4k capable, but there's a certain length it can go before degrading. Check the specs first.
Thanks! I think we're within max length, but will confirm.

Not really sure how that's relevant to anything. They are talking about fiber optic HDMI cable which isn't like regular HDMI cable. I agree with them you should use fiber optic if you can. I don't even like pulling 30ft of regular HDMI cable but fiber optic cable is like a wet noodle it's fantastic.

None, that's the point of using the fiber optic cable if you can.

Mansion
You would need multiple signal repeaters ever 50ft or so if you ran 400' of hdmi…cat would be a small fraction of the cost and way easier bc all of those repeaters would also need power…so no one with any common sense would run 400' ft of straight hdmi…and if they did, everyone would laugh at them and think "man, this person is stupid." HDMI over cat is the standard, professional way to do this…especially in a mansion, when your client would be paying at a residential customer and you would want to maximize quality and profit margins at the same time. Makes no sense from a technology or business perspective to run that much HDMI.
