Cause music is life an i need to feel it to get in the groove ; usually fight training to tempo cause it helps me break speed barriers to force my body to punch an kick train to things like 270bpm music . The gym is super loud. I'm even louder punching an kicking things. An you need really good cans to hear any low end like kick drums of bass guitar. Also as the day progresses my ears will soften dB so usually after an hour of loud music/lectures/whatever I need to turn it up progressively as the day moves on. I'm missing some tones an dB level in one ear due to it being punctured a decade ago but it's the last issue for me unless I'm trying to echo locate

Check out comply foam tips for a better fit. I immediately throw out the plastic tips and replace with foam.
I was gonna get custom made for my ear shape. You are right tho. I forgot how important it was even tho I can barely hear my one now since it's not the stock that seemed to make it louder than my usual 2 teir I replace them with

Your hearing is better off in the long run if you use noise cancelling and foam tips so you don't have to turn up the music as much.

If anyone knows an extremely loud pair of sport earbuds let me know. I can't keep wearing large cans when I'm trying to stay cool
