For example: "Dark Magic" (dark roast, same quantity) is $1.79 at Walgreens (totally insane price and likely none available by now). It's $18.99 at Amazon!

Actually they do sometimes. Seems to be a system thing. Walmart will list something like dogfood 12 packs incorrectly and then Amazon will change to that price. You see those deals occassionally here.

Dont ask me what determines what changes.

As I mentioned, it would normally need to be a manufacturer's sanctioned sale. Under those circumstances, you'll find an item almost everywhere at the same discount. This appears to be a "get rid of whatever you've got" situation (based upon the individual merchant).

And as I mentioned, the price Walmart and then Amazon list an item for is an obvious mistake as when you order from Walmart specifically 9/10 times you will only get 1 and not 12.


I mean you could be right about this deal here. But I disagree with you that Amazon never price matches. I see it all the time.
