FYI, "Game Pass Core" is more or less the new name for "Xbox Live Gold".

From what I understand you can buy now and just wait until your ultimate expires and then put your 3 years in and convert.

I'd personally wait until getting close to expiration, it's usually pretty easy to find deals like this.

My Ultimate sub ran out in October. Followed the directions and everything worked like a charm.
2 years of ultimate until Dec 27, 2025.

They changed it... It doesn't matter if you're subbed or not... A 3 month card turns into 2 months of ultimate. Same thing with the 12 months of gold becoming 8 months of ultimate.

I have ultimate now. Is there a way to not convert but just switch to core? I feel ultimate is a rip off as the games they have we don't play.

I am not sure if this has been answered but I currently have Game Pass Ultimate that expires on March of 2025. If I was to purchase this, would it extend my Game Pass Ultimate to March of 2027?

Just successfully did this. Thank you for the detailed instructions! If you are already an existing Ultimate subscriber, make sure you let your subscription completely expire before doing this conversion deal. Otherwise you will not get the 3:2 conversion rate.

Also, while I was eligible for the $1 14 day free trial from Microsoft, I opted for the $1.60 30 day trial from Eneba. 2 extra weeks for $0.60.
