Really? I just picked one of these up at Best Buy and don't hear any coil whine whatsoever. Stress tested it in RDR2 benchmark for 30 min and got great results. Maybe try swapping it for another one?

I have this card also and oddly enough, it only whines during one game so far - but when it does it's bad.

Hoping it will go away on it's own as it was purchased through Amazon and the return process would be annoying!

Note:
-The card rips otherwise, and has very good cooling.
-Adrenalin is busted for fan profiles and won't remember them, I used Afterburner with good results

I had originally bought this 6800 from Amazon for $10 less earlier last week, but the unusual amount of 1 and 2 star reviews made me cancel my order the moment they had 6800 XTs for around $400 on Newegg.

Try using two different 8 pin connectors. If you use a cable that's got two, it's usually worse

It's funny how some deals blow up and others don't. This was $10 cheaper last week, and the 6750xt is still $322 since last week.

I guess I got the last one? Still shows as a valid order in my Amazon account, but let's see if it actually ships. Seems like an OK deal given the dearth of graphic card deals this year. Though it appears XFX has some negative reviews on their cards for poor quality and early failures.
