Is it just me or the quality of these are mediocre. I found them not so firm and soft just lumpy and soft. Didn't get a good feeling. I remember few years ago when squishmallows was new in market they used to be bigger size, firm and soft like memory foam. Anyone knows where to get that quality?

Not in the US in most cases. During Covid when the cost of shipping containers from China went WAY up, Kellytoy started cutting corners to get as many Squish into a container as possible. They also started vacuum packing the larger ones, they arrived flat as a pancake when buying wholesale and the retailer had to open them and fluff them up before selling them. This is also why sizes were getting smaller and why smaller Squish items were introduced.

It's interesting as I can find the same exact Squish at two different stores, but one store will have a slightly higher quality version than the other. In Europe, where Squish market is a couple of years behind the US, their quality is generally higher than in the US.
