I was very close to picking up a pair of these with open box at $136 each, but realized this is for the One and not for the Era 100. Not a big deal if it's what you can afford and just using these as standalone, but I'd rather get the Eras in the future since I am not in any rush. Differences are +1 tweeter, larger mid woofer, taller by 1 inch, +Bluetooth, USB C in with option for 3.5mm adapter for line in. I just have a Roam SL and I love it, and would like to have the have a home theater setup, but didn't want to drop $1600 all at once.

Anyone know if you can set up 4 of these as surrounds, two front two rear? It seems to only offer "surround" for my two One SLs, you cannot select front or rear.

If you were planning to use them with your TV setup, then no. You need their soundbar in the front and then you can use the other two as rear/surround. If you were planning to use for music, and have 4 of these, either all four playing together with no stereo/surround effect. Only two can be used at a time for stereo effect. You can still play from all the speakers, just depening on what output you want, you might want to think how many you should buy.

Now if it's Era 100 then all four can be played at once and each speaker can output in stereo our two in pair for true stereo.

I member when these could be had for like 80 dollars. the Sonos 1's

miss them days.

that said, I did snag a Sonos five gen 2 or what not 2 years ago for 300 open box Best Buy.
