Ikea has increased their prices so much that its not worth it anymore. Only buy when they have a huge discount.

Ikea used to be value store. Now it's just another import store with odd ball pricing. I just wish companies just sold stuff at same price instead of all the marketing dance

I don't know if this is functionally true or enforced, but worth noting IKEA's website lists a maximum usage of 4 gift cards per online order https://www.ikea.com/us/en/custom...b3d91.html So if you went for $150 gift card, and got 3x $10 bonus cards, you'd be at the per purchase online cap.

This is too broad a generalization. This is both true and untrue depending on what category of homegoods or furniture you're purchasing.

Their outdoor furniture, for example, is very competitive. I spent weeks comparing prices, and still Ikea was a significant savings for similar products.

They are definitely more expensive than they used to be, but, there's a catch.

Everything is more expensive than it used to be.

wondering if i can buy five 200 dollar ones instead of one 1000. are they one transaction per customer, or up to 1000 per customer no matter how many transactions. i would like use like 200 vias GC that i get 5% back on.

Where are you shopping now? All furniture places have increased their prices dramatically. I find IKEA to still be quite competitive. Besides, the main draw of IKEA is that you can find something for any size space and/or function. More folks are being forced to live in much smaller apartments/houses so modular/short term furniture makes the most sense. This is what IKEA excels in.

regular ones do not, but it says that bonus ones might have an expiration date. we are interested if there is such an expiration date, or are the bonus GC the same as the regular ones
