The price is crazy good, but the quality is way off. Watch Project Farm's video from yesterday on YouTube. Made me skip this one....

Basically the tools rounded easier, the ratchet gave out before most of the others, and everything was just low quality

You have to consider he was factoring in a fairly retail price of that dewalt mechanic's set and not a super sale price like this. This kit with all those deep sockets is pretty damn good. Also, just because the dewalt ratchets don't hold up to being beaten on as well as some of the others doesn't mean there value isn't good. I don't think they were ever intended to be used in such a fashion. That's why we have breaker bars.

I agree with everything you said bud. Quality just wasn't there on his test. And yes, FOR THE PRICE, this is probably a much better set than Dollar General! I just wanted to caution someone thinking this was going to be a massive upgrade over their Harbor Freight stuff

I watched the Project Farm testing of tool sets. and unfortunately DeWalt did not perform well in the testing. I'm a DeWalt guy. But I will have to pass on this one.

I wish the tough system came out with some sort of system where you could snap in or seat a tray half this size for a set like this.

Nice set but man this tray is entirely too big just to fit a ratchet and a few sockets in the "tough system" boxes.

I purchased this over the summer when it was on sale for about $35. This is a great set! Well made. It is bigger than it appears in the picture. Quality of product is good. Similar to Stanley.
