Thank you! I've been in the market for a Leatherman Surge or Signal Multitool, but this is even better for not too much more money. If I'm not mistaken, the ARC 21 was just released last month in October 2023.

By the way, if you go to checkout and are not seeing the 25% discount, sign up for a free ScoreCard membership first.

I hope this helps,

I know not everyone will qualify, but if you miss out on this, Leatherman does a 30% discount for 1 order per year for police, fire, and EMT.

Don't get leatherman ; Get Gerber.

I'm a merchant marine and I was working in the oilfield and I broke the pilers while trying to straighten out a Cotten pin. One of the sides just snapped off while I was twisting it, just one handed wrist strength. I assure you I am not the hulk. Don't recommend this product if you are in a hard working industry.
Sooo, don't buy a leatherman but rather buy Gerber: A brand known for the bottom of the Chinese barrel in terms of quality as well as using the "USA built" term as a money grab. Got it.

Companies make multiple products. Which set of Leatherman pliers broke on you? And which Gerber tool do you propose to be better for the money than the Leatherman Arc here?

Actual warning: lots of Arc owners have complained that their wire cutters were defective. Also this reddit thread has people complaining about sloppy QC https://www.reddit.com/r/Leatherm...ously_bad/

Otherwise the 25 year warranty makes me feel OK buying, personally Smilie

Kind of silly to write off an entire company due to your one experience with one tool. Maybe you've heard the world isn't perfect? The Leatherman brand is reliable even if a few get get through.

They used to at least. I can't find that deal anymore on GovX or ID.me.
