No. Monolith open box has same warranty as new one. Be wary of open box ones though, they Don't do proper testing on returned ones. I bought one and it had the infamous amp problem, where it keeps blinking red. Test thoroughly if you buy
If this is the case you could just have them ship you new one right? This might be a solid buy then at this price.

Price seems great but if you end up getting faulty ones, it becomes a huge hassle. In my case, both subs had issues. On one the amp was making the water/air sound, it's a common issue. On the other one, the driver was bad. Monoprice support did pay for return shipping so that was good but still shipping back almost 300 lbs on a pallet is not trivial by any means. Just food for thought
Lost me as a customer when they pulled their last prank, happily bought dual klipsch 1400sw. Plus 5 year warranty on the whole sub. Probably dodged a bullet due to Monoprice faulty amps.
