This system was $1099 just as cyber Monday was starting and sold out. Any chance that comes back? I blew it. Should've pulled the trigger. Anyone able to get the 10% coupon ? What's best cash back % now ?

I have it in cart with the 10% coupon applied, debating between this and MSI Aegis R from Costco which is $249 more. Costco has 2 years warranty and 90 day return policy, also for the extra $249 we could upgrade SSD, RAM, add a HDD, but the upgradability is very limited with this Aurora R16 because of proprietary

While creating an account in dell website, select options to receive email updates, you will get couple of welcome emails shortly after signing up. For Amex offer, log on to your account and check offers section

I'm tempted by the system but was looking for an XPS and don't really need the video card but if it's the right price I would go for it. My question is, do you guys know if the cashback sites will cancel your cashback if you use the 10% off email subscription coupon?

Dell XPS came down to 799 few days back at Costco, that was the best deal and Dell website was selling it for 899 I think. The only issue was the PSU, adding a graphics card later would cause issues.

How is the Costco warranty with electronics? Do they look for excuses to not cover things? I've bought from them but have never had to use their warranty.

PSU is slightly on the light side. Shouldn't be an issue with this configuration, but may impact the ability to upgrade in the future. Weird place for them to save $10

I just spoke with dell customer care. I told them that my coupon was expired and requested a new one. Got a new code to my email just now. Anyone can try this.

Don't buy alienware if you plan to ever upgrade. Anything that can be proprietary will be. They have horrible air flow. On the 3d view this has a case fan on the cpu heat sink. Your better off buying from someone that uses off the shelf parts. Hp omen aren't bad.

I was debating between building my own PC or going with a prebuilt like the Alienware. I ended up buying the Alienware and didn't want to spend time potentially troubleshooting and tweaking components.

I upgraded my R16 configuration (***to allow for limited future upgrades) and this is what I ended up with:

Aurora R16
13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700F (16-Core, 54MB Cache, up to 5.2 GHz with Turbo Max 3.0) Processor
***NVIDIA(R) GeForce RTX(TM) 4070 12GB GDDR6X
1TB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD
***32GB, 2x16GB, DDR5, 5600MHz
Intel(R) Killer(TM) Wi-Fi 6E AX1675, 2x2, 802.11ax, MU-MIMO, Bluetooth(R) wireless card
***1000W Platinum PSU, Dark, Liquid-Cooled CPU & Clear Side Panel
Windows 11 Home, English, French, Spanish
Dell Multimedia Keyboard-KB216 Black (English)
Dell Optical Mouse - MS116 (Black)
Premium Support with Onsite Service After Remote Diagnosis, 1 Year
Dell Limited Hardware Warranty Initial Year

Retail Value: $2049.99
Cyberweek Savings: -$200
Shipping: Free
Total Price: $1849.99

Discounts applied:
1) -$185.00 [Coupon] Save An Extra 10% Off Select Computers, Servers, And Dell Electronics & Accessories.
2) [Coupon] Free 2nd Business Day Shipping For All Dell Advantage Customers Code:NDAR2DFREE
3) -$120 [Amex] Spend $599 or more, get $120 back
4) -$249 [cashback] 15% off Dell (this was yesterday. today is 10% - still pretty good)
5) -$60 [Chase] 5% off Dell up to $100

Total cost: $1849.99 - 185 - 120 - 249 - 60 = $1235.99 before taxes

For what its worth I would never buy another Alienware again. They make it very difficult to use third party RAM, the case fans are pretty shitty, but also can't be replace with off the rack stuff.

Just extremely anti-consumer across the board.

I bought one during the pandemic when it was basically the only way to get a decent GPU without paying an obscene premium.
