"many of these" deals - but how can you find out if this specific deal is eligible with AAA? Is there a special portal you have to enter from the AAA site or something? I don't see how to get the discount through samsung's site with AAA membership.
It looks like we can access Samsung deals through AAA's discounts portal. I'm not seeing this particular deal on that landing page, though.
Also, after browsing through the deals that I was presented with, I selected a 65" Q60C for $525~ and at checkout I was prompted for EDU credentials. So I somehow landed on this EDU deal instead and I'm not sure how a AAA discount is supposed to work. 😅

I started here:

https://www.ace.aaa.com/discounts.html [aaa.com]

There are a few other screens to click through to get to the TV deals. It's just that starting further along results in a website error. (AAA's website may actually be having some service issues at the moment)

There will also be a pop-up to verify your AAA membership. Either your AAA member number or full name and zip code will work. Then you'll be dropped onto Samsung's website with the Deals page.

Because most streaming devices have atrocious internet streaming ability. Firestick only has silk browser now, Roku doesn't even allow internet access. If you stream and use internet for tv and pirate stuff, you need a decent browser on a smart tv. casting from a PC or phone is a huge hassle and drops out contantly.
Is there some content you can't stream on an android streaming box? Or on a laptop via HDMI?

In for one... Used my daughter's EDU email and got the $524 price.. During checkout, the price went to $499 then reduced again to $474... Ended up being a little over $500 after taxes and free shipping. I figured that's a good deal. Looking forward to installation.. Looks like a couple weeks for shipping, est Dec 11th.

Ok, asking legitimately because I'd like to know. I have made NUMEROUS purchases from Samsung over the past 5+ years using the Education or Employee discounts (whichever is higher), and it is literally 1 button click to get that 10-30% off. On the top of the product page where it says "Save More with Samsung Offers" you just expand then click which one you want and it takes the discount off immediately, no verification. They have NEVER checked in dozens of orders. I don't understand why people on this thread are making a huge deal about how "limited" the EPP program is.

I've even made purchases on like 3 or 4 separate accounts when it's suited me. Everytime always 1 click to get the EPP rate.

why would you want to have to mess with a laptop plugged into a tv? and run an HDMI cable across the room? Casting is laggy and buggy. And yes there are websites you cannot run on an android streaming box, and vice versa. True cord cutters know wht i'm talking about and we don't pay for anything we don't have to.

I'm not suggesting casting at all. And who would run an HDMI cable across the room? You wirelessly control. So what are you using then that is better than connecting a computer to the TV? It doesn't need to be a laptop, it can be any PC.

hdmi cable, as I said, because casting lags and doesn't always work, and then you have to have the wife and kids figure out the computer side of it as well.

I use certain streaming sites from parts unknown, and a specific app that doesn't work on most android devices due to its design. I'd rather not say specifically, but they are apps that all you to watch LIVE network and Cable channels, specifically Fox, Oann, Newsmax that normally require a cable subscription or pay a monthly fee as well as Netflix clones and other modded and cloned apps.

No wonder I clicked the link and the EPP discount didn't show. Their website sucks and didn't want to load the verification page but I finally got it to load and verified via ID.me and now see the EPP prices again. As long as I can verify since I do qualify, it's fine, but bummer for those who don't actually qualify.

You need a good browser on a TV because you want to pirate Fox and Newsmax? You should educate your family on how to use a computer.
