Looked it up and this seems to be a decent machine. I go to Dunkin probably 2x a week and get something with espresso in it every time. $5 per trip, this will recoup pretty quick considering.

I have a 3200 which is the same internals. I have the temperature set to the highest the machine will go. I just tested it with a thermapen and the hot water outlet is between 192-193 max, and the second consecutive espresso cycle (which I ran without beans) is 190-191F max at the outlet.
It may heat to a higher temp internally, but it doesn't preheat the system or your cup and the losses in the system will add up. It's 10pm here so I'm not going to run a cup of coffee, but I can tell you it's hot enough to burn your mouth out of a paper cup.

thanks for the info. sounds like people don't know how to adjust the settings on these and the give false reports. I think only difference with 2200 vs 3200 is the two different beverage options? Anything else?
Ehh my baker's rack counter top is only 14" deep. not gonna cut it for any super auto espresso machine. bummer...

Not pushing you either way, but the main body of the machine is 14" from the very back to the face of the controls & espresso outlets. The tray extends another 3" past to make the total 17" depth.
Can the milk be cold from the fridge and produce a regular hot latte, or do I have to warm the milk before making a latte?
Cold - straight from the fridge. You can even store the milk in the container (in the fridge), though the lid isn't tight so it's not really "sealed" so maybe a day or two at most.
I have 3200 since early 2021. Using the machine everyday, love the espresso drink it produce with Lavazza Super Crema (there is a deal on Slickdeals as well).

It's a good review, but definity doesn't provide a "full rundown" between "1200/2200/3200" - I'm sure there are differences between models, and your review doesn't talk about them at all.
So far as I can tell, the biggest differences are more selection "options" in settings.

True - it's more about the performance. You are correct (and I thought I'd mentioned it) that the sole difference is the number of options for drinks - they are mechanically identical when it comes to brewing.

Well I may be able to pull out the cart a little and give it more room that way. If not I figured out I can position it sideways and use it from the left side of my cart.

Got the 2200 and a couple of 2 lb bags of Super Crema. Andiamo!!!
