Well that$150$ savings should cover one half of one stays cleaning fee!

I ordered this a second time after the same deal a week ago. Waiting to see if it goes through. Will update this if it gets e-delivered.

Edit: Second order was e-delivered around 1.5 hrs after I made it.

Yes you have the option to choose a different place but things are broken and is a legit issue with the fees being what they are and out of control for most (like Ticketmaster style).


I dont know if hosts would try to negotiate the cleaning fee if a request came in.

Always someone who has to add this in every thread. If you don't want to pay the cleaning fee then try to negotiate it off. No one is making anyone have to select a spot with a cleaning fee.

Airbnb in the US sucks but I use it internationally and I've had no issues there.

Stale and overused, just like complaints about Spirit/Frontier charges. Just like with ultra low cost carrier airlines, price out all options (including taxes/fees/etc.) and then compare. I do that and Airbnbs usually come out less.

Even if you do full payment also, you can chat with Airbnb and request to invalidate the original payment. Then you can apply gift card.
