Deal is dead, does not offer free 2.5 battery

Been wanting a stubby and initially overlooked this deal... this is very tempting.

M12 fuel 2 tools, charge and 3 batteries for $175 I would consider an amazing deal.

This not so much.
Will have to strongly disagree with you here - stubby, 4.0 battery, and charger for $112 is pretty solid. Shouldn't be hard to sell the battery and charger. The problem for me is I have a stock pile of batteries "to sell" that I never bother with.

The 4.0 and charger are part of the kit, not a separate line item, so makes it a bit more difficult. I also don't have the social aptitude to return something I don't have the receipt for (even for just store credit). Maybe my HD is just strict or frequently abused, but no card or receipt is pretty much a guarantee you can't return it.

The 2.5Ah HO and the stubby kit arr hackable, but the 4.0 and charger can't be separated from the kit any further

I did a pickup at different location. I paid with GC. Can I pick up the tool and return 2-3 days later to get my GC amount back ? My tool is coming to different location via ship to store.

Returns are given back the same way they are paid. You will get a new gift card for the amount returned

Does the Fuel Stubby 1/2 ever go on sale?? I'd rather get that. I know you can use an adapter but you'll lose some power/torque in doing so. Couldn't find an older 1/2 deal thread.

..not really, you can't 'return' the charger, nor can you decide which battery you want to return if you want to keep a specific one.

Do you have a specific reason for wanting the 1/2" besides just already owning a 1/2" impact socket set? With these particular M12s, the 3/8" has actually been shown to hit slightly harder... and ultimately, 1/2" sockets are a little big/excessive on a tool that isn't really suitable for >100 ft-lb applications.
