Bedrock yes. Java, no. I have just the Bedrock version and have it installed on several accounts in my 'family'. But Java will only execute on the parent/purchased account.

"you can get bedrock on ....." yes thats correct BUT those are all licensed differently. Getting this 'key' for java+bedrock will ONLY work where the Microsoft Launcher works. As in, this is NOT a key for playing it on Switch, on Ipad, on Xbox, etc. This purchase is basically just a Mac/Windows/Linux key.

The other point is more specific to what you would do after that, cross play does work better with bedrock (you can play on PC and join your friends on xbox, etc)

Free mods are on Java. For Bedrock, u can find some free ones but most mods require separate purchases on the "marketplace" in title menu. This is how they will make back the cost or acquisition.

If that happens I'm sure you could refute it with customer service. But this seems highly unlikely to happen in the first place. Look at CDKeys reviews which are written by real people. How many of those report their key getting banned?

Another question, my son has been playing Minecraft using my account on Xbox game pass, would buying this and activating it under my account allows his saves to transfer over so he can just continue playing?

That's a fun idea, however you need a Turkish address for the credit card if you're trying through windows or minecraft store. CD Keys accepts paypal but CD Keys is smart enough to use accurate exchange rates to avoid falling for this.

I tried to purchase 3 times on 12/14/23, and ordered was confirmed all 3 times, but then would receive an email from CDKEYS that order could not process. Was using my paypal account. Got emails from Paypal saying authroezed transactions, but then saw on my online account that the transactions were cancelled. Called Paypal and they said that the merchant (CDKEYS) was voiding the transactions. CDKEYS is either a not trustworthy vendor or this deal is expired. Looking at reviews. people have had many issues with them. Regardless of what others say on here that they have had success with CDKEYS, I disagree with you, something shady is going on here. Plus CDKEYS has no phone number to actually talk to someone about support. Either way, REMOVE to EXPIRED and stopping sending people to a non-reputable merchant, and very well much in the gray area of piracy.

I don't know how this is could be considered piracy at all. I just bought it at the new low price of $18.99. It's my first purchase from CDKeys. I had no problem at all. Went all the way through the process, including install and test play. I'm sorry you're having issues but this is a solid deal.
