Model: MAASDAM POW'R-PULL 3-Ton Car Jack Stands in Green
Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Project Farm did a comparison video and the Home Depot Husky jacks are one of the best value jacks while handling nearly 17,000 lbs of downward force before beginning to buckle.
These "MAASDAM" are identical to the HD Husky jacks tested in every way, making them a steal at $19. This is a situation where you can save money -without- any risk to safety .
I have the US Jacks and they are the best jack stands I have ever used. You do need to jack your car up a good amount compared to others though so keep that in mind. The Husky's were rated pretty well. This is one thing to never go cheap on.
How's the quality on these ?
I noticed on the other jack stands posted recently that jack stands are not something to cheap out on.
With some having issues with spotty wields or major design flaws.

If I remember right this is one that was tested by PF with decent enough results. Looks identical to the Husky which also has decent reviews. As long as the welds are good I see no issues.
edit - Husky with same design was tested not Maasdam but rated highly.

3x to 4x the price as well. Could get a 12 ton with that price
curious if there are low profile jack stands for sport cars?
Why would you need low profile jack stands? You can use planks and a low profile jack to jack up low cars, but the stands are just how high you have them once its already jacked up.

that's because they are too high even at the lowest setting. I would have to jack up the car higher than required just to fit them.

How high does your jack go?
If you can't lift the car high enough, or your jack stands are too low, its not going to be too useful for working on the car.

Buy once cry once....I wouldn't settle for something that could fail from a lackluster weld. You could go with the Husky brand and still be better off over this.
