Slickdeals doesn't even allow BB guns. I posted an excellent deal on a scope recently - deleted. That's literally just a magnifying glass. This is technically a gun accessory, so it is unfortunately likely against the draconian policy.

Check these sites out below. I've bought from them multiple times and they always have competitive prices. With Gunbroker, watch the shipping and fees included which will increase your final price. Buying online you will have to ship to a FFL and get them to transfer the gun to you. Seach the FFL database online for the best price to do the transfer as they all charge different amounts.

r/gundeals on Reddit is HIGHLY active. There are rules for vendors posting and they blacklist dealers for bad service. Buying a gun online is super easy. You still have to transfer through an FFL and the process is exactly the same as when you buy in store. The process can be more complicated if you don't live in a free state.

Not sure I like the look of that closure system. Looks like velcro that laps together without any fold over. My drake case is from like 07 but I think I'd trust it more than that one.

Gun.deals will show prices for most of the places mentioned. If you know which one you want, you search the model and it shows wikiarms with links to all these smaller stores. One of the few industries where Amazon and Walmart haven't killed off all the small businesses. Just be careful not to buy from a place like Dack Outdoors that won't ship your gun for a month until they find somebody else to buy it from.

For FFLs, a lot of ranges offer free FFL transfers for members. May be able to find good range membership deals now too.

As someone that lost all his guns in a canoe accident, I wish I would have had all my guns in these.

Boating/gun accidents are on the rise in Illinois so folks there might want to get in on this.

SD does have a 'Shooting Gear' forum, but it's so buried that its a ghost town. I see ammo, scopes, red dot sights, etc in the recent posting lists.

It's a waterfowl case, meant to hold shotguns, not a scoped rifle. It's narrower for this reason.

If it was from a shilly partner they'd let it slide.

This site has really gone to crap since 2007 when I first joined when it was actually community driven.

As things usually go someone will build a better mouse trap and SD will eventually go into the digital dustpan.
